About the Textbooks4All Initiative
Our Mission
At Angels2Angels, our mission began in a classroom in Lebanon, where we witnessed the difficulties of local students who learned without basic educational resources. This encounter led us to come up with the Angels2Angels organization: an attempt at addressing the global education deficit. Globally, an estimated 617 million children and adolescents of primary and lower secondary school age—more than 55% of the global total—lacked minimum proficiency in reading and mathematics in 2015. Through the Textbooks4All Initiative, Angels2Angels hopes to enhance the education of students in Third World countries by providing them with textbooks and study materials.

Phase 1: El Hadadine Girls School
Phase 1 of Textbooks4All aims to pioneer the textbook donation program at the El Hadadine Girls School located in Tripoli, Lebanon. As a public school, the El Hadadine School is underfunded and low on resources. All seniors had less than two of the required ten textbooks for the French Baccalaureate.
The first class to receive donated textbooks was the senior class in October 2023. The junior, sophomore, and freshmen classes' textbooks donations are pending as of January 2024.
Future Plans include expanding the program to additional Lebanese public schools, as well as introducing the concept to other Third World countries, such as Brazil
Phase 2: Escuela Kemna Oj located in Santa María de Jesús, Guatemala
We so excited to announce an upcoming book sponsorship, which will provide much-needed quality textbooks to Escuela Kemna Oj located in Santa María de Jesús, Guatemala. This school serves a vibrant community of young learners who are eager to enhance their education but lack access to essential books and learning materials.
Any support will make such a big difference in helping to collect and deliver a wide range of quality and up-to-date textbooks, ensuring that every student has access to accurate reading material. Education is the most important tool for success. Millions of kids around the world do not have access to textbooks and therefore their education relies solely on their cognitive abilities. Your sponsorship will directly contribute to the educational advancement of children in Guatemala, empowering them with the resources they need to succeed academically. Rural schools, including those in Pastores and Santa María de Jesús, often face a shortage of textbooks and educational materials, with less than 30% of rural schools having adequate resources (National Institute of Statistics of Guatemala).
